I am a Canadian artist living in British Columbia. I have been interested in drawing and painting since I was a child. However, my parents, both in the medical field thought that I should follow in their footsteps. Medicine was not meant for me though. Instead, I earned a degree in Economics, became a Certified General Accountant and went to work in information technology, finance and management. In 2009, I retired from a successful career in the corporate world and I am finally finding time to return to my first passion. I mentored under Dene Croft (www.denecroft.com) and Kiff Holland (www.kiffhollandartist.com) at the Holland Croft Studio in North Vancouver and is now working out of my own studio in West Vancouver. I am evolving as an artist and continue to explore and develop my artwork. I find inspiration from everyday things and love the ever changing nature of art making.
